Salesforce Scrum Master
Location: Remote
Description:
The HigherEchelon Salesforce Division is seeking an experienced and certified Salesforce Scrum Master to join our Salesforce team. The Salesforce Scrum Master will facilitate the Scrum process, promote and support Agile principles, and ensure the successful delivery of Salesforce projects. This role requires strong knowledge of Salesforce and Scrum methodologies and excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Act as the Scrum Master for one or more Salesforce development teams, facilitating the Agile Scrum process and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
• Coach and guide the team on Agile methodologies and best practices, promoting continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring they are effective and productive.
• Work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring clear and well-defined user stories.
• Remove any obstacles or impediments that may prevent the team from achieving their Sprint goals, fostering a proactive and supportive environment.
• Monitor and track team velocity and progress, providing regular updates and reporting on project status and key metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as developers, administrators, and business analysts, to ensure smooth coordination and delivery of Salesforce projects.
• Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability within the team, fostering an environment conducive to high productivity and innovation.
• Support the team in achieving a sustainable pace of work, balancing the demands of delivering value with maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
• Stay updated on Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends, and assess their potential impact on the team's work and project delivery.
• Continuously improve the Agile processes and practices, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes as necessary.
Required Skills:
• Preferred public sector experience or multiple Salesforce project implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform and applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• In-depth understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and other Agile methodologies.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and facilitating Agile projects or Scrum teams.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a focus on finding collaborative solutions.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder) are preferred.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or other Agile project management tools is a plus.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance if needed
Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent is required. Additional Agile certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master) are a plus.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator; Certified Scrum Master.
• Will have at least eleven (11) years of general work experience.
• Experience focusing on managing scrum teams in an Agile software development environment.
• Will have at least one (1) year of experience in building Salesforce business process models, writing acceptance criteria, and designing user interfaces for a production system.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
