Description:
The HigherEchelon Salesforce Practice is seeking a talented Business Intelligence Developer (Tableau) with a banking industry background and experience integrating Tableau with Salesforce. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining advanced data visualizations and dashboards to support analytics, reporting, and strategic decision-making within the banking domain.
Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with banking and Salesforce stakeholders to gather requirements and develop Tableau dashboards and visualizations tailored to their needs.
• Integrate Salesforce data with other banking systems and datasets for comprehensive data analysis and visualization.
• Design interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau to present key banking performance metrics (KPIs) and actionable insights.
• Build and maintain efficient data models and data pipelines to ensure seamless and accurate reporting from Salesforce and banking systems.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the reliability and accuracy of Tableau visualizations.
• Enhance and optimize existing Tableau solutions, incorporating user feedback and evolving industry trends.
• Work closely with Salesforce administrators and data analysts to ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability across systems.
• Stay up to date on Tableau and Salesforce best practices, recommending innovative solutions to leverage Tableau's capabilities.
• Train end-users on Tableau dashboards, promoting self-service analytics and fostering a data-driven culture.
• Communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively, using storytelling and visualization techniques.
Required Skills:
• Extensive experience developing Tableau dashboards with data sourced from Salesforce and other banking systems.
• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, with strong knowledge of visualization best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights.
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying and preparing data for Tableau visualizations.
• Experience with Salesforce data structures, reporting, and integration.
• Solid understanding of banking industry KPIs, analytics, and data compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with Tableau UI/UX design principles and ensuring visualizations meet accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508 compliance).
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Desired Skills:
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Tableau CRM and Einstein Discovery Consultant).
• Experience with Tableau Prep for data preparation and transformation.
• Knowledge of data privacy and security standards specific to the banking industry.
Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• US Citizenship required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data visualization and Tableau development.
• At least 1 year of experience working with Salesforce data in a business intelligence capacity.
• Tableau Data Analyst Certification or equivalent is required.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.
