SAIC is currently seeking a GEOINT SME at Fort Liberty, NC.

This role occasionally utilizes a "Panama Schedule" which consists of a rotating schedule where the team will work 12-hour shifts, of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on and 2 days off. This schedule alternates from "Day Shift" to "Night Shift" after 90 days, and then back to "Day Shift" after another 90 days.

Job Duties:
  • Support FORSCOM Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigade (EMIB) locations in relation to Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) support.
  • Utilize AIMES, SOCET GXP InMotion, and other exploitation software as directed by PED support requirements.
  • Perform full motion video exploitation in a shift work environment as an integral part of a combined team of military and civilian team members.
  • Serve as a senior member of a support team and will be available to respond to the needs defined by the 525 th EMIB.
  • As a GEOINT SME must be able to speak to the GEOINT community with a thorough understanding of the latest principles of Geospatial Intelligence.
  • The SME must also understand what policy changes, emergent technology, or operational focuses will impact GEOINT equities and the ability for GEOINT soldiers to accomplish their mission essential tasks.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree and (5) five years of relevant experience; Masters degree and (3) years of relevant experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree.

Required Security Clearance:
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Required Skills:
  • Tactical FMV experience.
  • ISR/RSTA FMV exploitation experience.
  • Ability to prepare, maintain, and present intelligence displays, reports, and briefings with the creation and use of visual aids (graphs, charts, etc.) and drafting, editing, and proofreading documents for publishing.
  • Ability to work rapidly in a high tempo, high stress environment that often requires multi- tasking.
  • Tactical FMV experience.
  • ISR/RSTA FMV exploitation experience.
  • Ability to prepare, maintain, and present intelligence displays, reports, and briefings with the creation and use of visual aids (graphs, charts, etc.) and drafting, editing, and proofreading documents for publishing.
  • Ability to work rapidly in a high tempo, high stress environment that often requires multi- tasking.
  • Familiarity with MS PowerPoint and Excel, GETS, IRC, AIMES, SOCET GXP InMotion, or other comparable exploitation software.
  • Knowledgeable of the intelligence processing, exploitation, and dissemination process and the collection management process.
  • Willingness to assist in the instruction of the Basic FMV Course and mentor soldiers through their shifts to include conducting evaluations, JQS, and QAQC.
  • Will be expected to attend high level meetings and interject when needed to answer leadership questions on GEOINT capabilities and tradecraft.
  • Will be required to review policy and doctrine and recommend changes or inject GEOINT requirements into the same.
  • Must attend several Department of the Army level meetings in which they collaborate with senior GEOINT and Intelligence authorities from HQDA, NGA, NRO, NGIC, AFC, INSCOM, and more to resolve GEOINT community friction points, and develop new capabilities.
  • Must be able to operate independently with little guidance. They will be responsible for maintaining their expertise on GEOINT tradecraft, technology, policy, and more.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in training soldiers in GEOINT tasks and tradecraft.
  • Ingestion of target data into Army systems and databases.
  • Expert in Geospatial Imagery (EO/IR/MSI/SAR/MTI) Analysis Tradecraft, Software, and Tools
  • Knowledgeable in Geospatial support to targeting capabilities and workflows.
  • Knowledgeable of Geospatial Data Analysis and Services (topographic data, elevation data, obstruction data).
  • Familiar with of imagery science (EMS, bandwidths, radar reflection).
  • Familiar with National Space Layer Collection Capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Army GEOINT Equipment (TGS, GBS, GWS, UHF/VHF).
  • Knowledgeable of data science principles (data visualization, analytical models)
  • Knowledgeable of Army Policy covering GEOINT and Geospatial Engineering.
  • Knowledgeable of Army Echelons Corps and Below GEOINT workflows and requirements.
  • Knowledgeable of Geospatial Collections Requirements Management (CRM) Procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of CRM tools and Army policies.
  • Expert level knowledge of Army GEOINT support to the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP).
  • Knowledgeable of how the Army GEOINT enterprise intersects/integrates into the National Geospatial Enterprise.
