Responsibilities
DevOps engineering requires a specific mix of development, engineering, and communication skills. Qualifications
You Have:
- Experience with Linux CLI
- Experience writing scripts using Bash/Python
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, and Ansible
- Experience with trouble-shooting large Linux Clusters
- Experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience using Git for version control
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED and 11+ years of experience as a software engineer, software integrator or devops engineer, or Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience as a software engineer, software integrator or devops engineer
Nice If You Have:
- Experience using Helm to deploy Kubernetes applications
- Experience using GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Familiar with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications
