Overview

Pay Range: $150,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
- Manage the operation and maintain a structured modular data environment (Forge) facilitating the synchronization and integration of the Top-Down Modernization Process (TDMP) and ACIDS/JCIDS, enabling Army Modernization Enterprise collaboration and a common operational picture of progress towards modernization.
- Provide Program Management Support (planning, timelines, architecture, configuration, training packages, etc.) and documentation (guides, templates, exports, reports, etc.)
- Ensure security management and compliance (STIGs, reports, memorandums, architecture diagrams, etc.)
- Provide advice and recommend best practices to manage the cloud environment effectively and efficiently. Maintain the website, tools, required servers; all documentation, security requirements, and other procedures to operate within the cloud environment.
- Oversee the development of new dashboards and analytic tools to meet the needs of AFC/FCC leaders, and Army force modernization efforts.
- Maintain Forge at 98% Operational Readiness (OR).
SUPERVISORY DUTIES:
- Team Leadership: Leading and managing a team of IT professionals.
- Performance Management: Setting performance expectations, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing feedback and coaching.
- Talent Development: Identifying training needs, developing training plans, and providing opportunities for professional growth.
- Staffing: Hiring and onboarding new team members, as well as managing terminations and reassignments.
- Team Building: Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, resolving conflicts, and motivating team members.
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:
- This position anticipates a mostly onsite environment with some telework to be considered. The person in this position is expected to be available between 0800 and 1600, Monday - Friday.

- This position has minimal travel expected,
Qualifications
CLEARANCE:
- Active Secret (S) is required upon application for initial consideration. This position is not open for any additional clearance upgrades, to include reactivation, or sponsorship.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, required.
CERTIFICATION(S):
- Certification in Agile Software Development Life Cycle processes, required
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least 10 years of demonstrated experience managing software intensive technology projects within complex IT environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience applying the Software Development Life Cycle processes and successful delivery of high-quality software applications.
- At least two years' experience/knowledge with principles of cloud computing, systems administration, network engineering, and data warehousing using third party hosting providers
- Experience leading large, enterprise web-based software applications with complex data federation demonstrated by leading software teams.
- Experience leading development and maintenance of software applications employing Microsoft technologies including C#, Active Server Pages (ASP)/.NET, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, AJAX, C++, HTML/DHTML, Azure with Platform as a Service (PaaS), Azure DevOps, Dynamics 365.
- Experience with software tools Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, Microsoft Visual C++6.0, Microsoft SQL Server 2016, JBuilder 5.0, Crystal Reports, SSRS, and Internet Information Systems.
- Experience responding to and expeditiously resolving system availability disruptions and maintaining continuity of operations through ITIL processes
- Experience with the application of Business Intelligence (BI), integration of both structured and unstructured data in support of operational processes, and management of a diverse workforce to solve complex information management challenges.
- Experience with cloud service providers, both Government and/or commercial, as well as collaboration efforts with DISA.
