Synertex is looking to hire a Acquisition Specialist in support of the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency's Training Directorate in Linthicum Heights, MD. This is a hybrid work position - 2 day in the office, 3 days teleworking.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the government with acquisition planning that is in alignment with DCSA strategic goals and in accordance with federal and local regulations.
- Support the preparation of Pre-Award and Post-Award actions for various contract types including fixed price, indefinite delivery, and blanket purchase agreements.
- Conduct Market Research, prepare Market Research Reports, Independent Government Cost Estimates, New and Renewal Memos, Product Specification Lists, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASPs), and Performance Work Statements.
- Support the acquisition of a wide variety of mission essential services including multi-year services and supply contracts involving special conditions and processing.
- Ensure compliance to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and supplemental regulations.
- Interface with project managers to facilitate the development of acquisition package products.
- Ensure that assigned deliverables are completed on time.
- Generate briefings, reports, and other documents provided to senior level client personnel as requested .
- 5-7 years of experience working in DoD Contracts and Acquisitions as a Contract Specialist or Contract Officer.
- Mastery of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Supplemental Regulations.
- 5-7 years of intermediate knowledge in interviewing, analyzing, observing and professional writing experience.
- 5-7 years of intermediate knowledge of supporting DoD Projects and Programs.
- Experience with procurement of services, supplies, equipment, and/or construction contracts for DoD.
- Bachelor's Degree in Financial or Contract Management preferred.
