Job Description
GDIT is looking to hire a team of Contract Field Specialists (CFS) to deploy to multiple locations in the United States. The CFS can be based anywhere in the continental US. Deployment sites will vary based on need.
Position Description: The CFS Specialist provides operational and oversight support to regional and national field teams responsible for monitoring the implementation of a federal program with respect to the care and placement of participants in a network of grant funded care provider programs.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Flexible work schedule with weekend coverage. Travel to facilities in the United States is required and will be reimbursed per Federal travel regulations. This position requires a Public Trust clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
Education
Bachelor of Arts in Social Work or related discipline
Graduate degree and training in child welfare best practices preferred
Qualifications
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual fluency in Spanish and experience working with underserved populations.
Demonstrated experience in providing technical assistance, monitoring and support to grantees/nonprofit agencies Proficiency in MS Office suite of tools.
Flexibility and ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
Must be able to deploy to sites in the United States as needed for extended durations (3-4 weeks or longer)

Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $62,962 - $74,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Job Description

Position Description: The CFS Specialist provides operational and oversight support to regional and national field teams responsible for monitoring the implementation of a federal program with respect to the care and placement of participants in a network of grant funded care provider programs.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deploy to facilities and influx sites nationwide to provide support to federal staff and technical assistance
- Provide operational support to federal field staff, including tracking of cases, compiling various reports, entering updates into agency system, and coordinating with various government agencies as requested.
- Provide oversight support to federal field staff, through conducting onsite assessments of care providers based on different triggers identified by regional federal supervisor
- Provide summary analysis and recommendations to applicable parties, and immediately report urgent issues, especially those related to the safety and welfare of program participants.
- Provide in-person technical assistance and interview support to the monitoring team.
- As requested, provide remote or on-site best practice recommendations and technical assistance to federal staff and care providers based on observed trends and an established understanding of policies and procedures.
- Monitor database data entries by program staff to supplement assessment analysis and to ensure quality and timeliness of data entry.
- Serve as liaison between care providers and consulates by processing all requests to and from consulates pertaining to specific care providers.
- Assist individual case workers with accessing files from various care providers regarding specific cases.
- Additional duties and special projects as assigned.
