Security Engineer with Symantec Endpoint Protection and DCS

Novacoast Federal is currently seeking an experienced Security Engineer with Expertise in Symantec Endpoint Protection and DCS. This is for a long term, contract position that can work remotely from anywhere. You must be able to pass an extensive Background check to qualify for this role.

• Provide SEP subject matter expertise and thought leadership as an extended member of a customer team
• Provide hands-on operational support and assistance with customer's implementation of SEP
• Assist with support of other Symantec security solutions such as Data Center Security (DCS), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Encryption
• Drive best practices for security incident response and remediation
Qualifications
• 3+ years administering, supporting or consulting on SEP and related data security software products in an enterprise customer environment is required.
• 4+ years of experience in Information Security, including: Incident Response and Remediation, Forensic Analysis, security tools such as security tools such as NMAP, Nessus, TCPDump, Wireshark, Netcat, Backtrack, Encase, Helix, FTK
