Responsibilities of the Contracts Specialist:
- Managing the terms and conditions of government client contracts
- Supporting the negotiation of agreements
- Drafting contract amendments
- Evaluating procurement policies and procedures
- Assessing proposed costs and prices
- Compiling necessary contract file documentation in accordance with the FAR, DFARS, and other relevant policies/regulations
Qualifications of the Contracts Specialist:
- 8+ years of experience in contracting
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in government procurement, including preparing cost proposals, negotiating contract terms and conditions, drafting contract amendments, managing contracts or subcontracts, and evaluating costs and prices
- Experience with Non-FAR based instruments such as Other Transaction Agreements, Grants, and/or Cooperative Agreements
- Active U.S. Government Secret Level security clearance required
Compensation of the Contracts Specialist:
- Salary Range: $135,000-$165,000 **depending on experience**
