Trilogy Innovations is seeking a (remote) Senior System Administrator with experience in Linux/RHEL system administration and AWS cloud experience to remotely support our federal customer. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team, while taking part in a multi-year initiative to modernize our federal customer's large-scale IT systems.
Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.
Work: Monitor delivery of a program, project, or managed service. Work with project managers to determine project plan, timeframe, and estimates. Manage workload to ensure even distribution of responsibilities. Ensure tasks and deliverables are in accordance with the statement of work and service level agreement. Monitor delivery performance and quality using metrics and status reporting. Communicate across multiple stakeholders to manage expectations, accountability and impact.

Here's what you need:
- 7+ years of experience in upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems. System administrator will ensure the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers they manage meet the needs of the users.
- Experience in Linux/RHEL System Administration/Installation (reviewing logs, system documentation)
- Experience in Tomcat, Applications management and operating system upgrades
- Experience in supporting AWS infrastructure implementation/administration (Services like AWS IAM, VPC, EC2, EBS, EFS, RDS, S3, Management Service (KMS), ELB, Auto Scaling, Security groups, ACL, Cloud Trail and Cloud Watch)
- Analyzing security requirements (Compliance, Standards, etc.) and applying latest security patches to ensure that each resource or system has the proper resources allocated to it.
- Experience creating and delivering Power Point presentations
- Active Secret security clearance
