Hardware/ DSP Hacker - Job Description
Who We Are
Kudu Dynamics is a 100% employee-owned company, forged out of a decade of experience in computer network operations and staffed with talent who have built, overseen, and enhanced capabilities throughout the entire USG arsenal. Our team of hackers, engineers, makers, and shakers have experience spanning centuries of research, development, and operations missions - across desktop, mobile, IoT, and embedded platforms. Kudu Dynamics is uniquely qualified to anticipate tomorrow's threats and build the next generation of capabilities.
Full Job Description
We are hiring for a researcher to develop capabilities at the intersection of hardware, signal processing, and physics where things don't operate like the textbooks say they do. The Hardware & DSP Hacker will contribute to the design and construction of radio frequency (RF) equipment to explore the full range of capabilities of a device in the electromagnetic spectrum. The researcher will be responsible for MATLAB/Simulink (or other similar software) modeling and simulation to quantify the performance of radios and assess the impact of interference and noise sources. This role calls for the creative application of multiple skill sets in a small, agile team that is working to develop and deliver advanced capabilities to our Sponsors. This is the type of job where you say, "hey, that's strange...", spend months reproducing and honing the "strange", and end up with something indistinguishable from magic to those who expect that their devices will always operate like the manufacturers say they will.
Responsibilities Include:
