Web Developer (On-Site)

Salary: $115k to $125k (depending on experience)

RWD Consulting is a growing provider of services to federal and local government clients. We are seeking a Web Developer to provide applications, database administration, and web development services to meet the needs of multiple levels within the organization. The contractor shall create, administer, and support custom web and scripting applications using platforms including, but not limited to, SharePoint, .ASP, .NET, and/or JAVA. The contractor shall also provide subject matter expert (SME) support in the planning, analysis, development, testing, and implementation of various commercial off the shelf (COTS) and custom web applications, as well as provide recommendations and insight regarding the acquisition and integration of any identified third-party packages. Support in this area shall include the breadth of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including process definition, requirements management, project planning, quality assurance, metrics, testing, certification, validation and verification, architecture and reengineering, security, and configuration management. Application and Web Development Support Services encompasses, but is not limited to, Sr. Database Administrator, SharePoint Developer, Sr. SharePoint Developer, Web Developer, and Sr. Web Developer functions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

6.3.4.1. Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
6.3.4.1. Must possess a secret security clearance

JOB DUTIES

2.1.1.1. Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
2.1.1.2. Configure and operate mainframe, minicomputer, and/or client/server-based applications.
2.1.1.3. Optimize system operation and resource utilization.
2.1.1.4. Perform systems capacity analysis and planning.
2.1.1.5. Provide assistance to system users in accessing and using applications.
2.1.1.6. Comply with prescribed customer, industry, and agency standards.
2.1.1.7. Nurture dependable and reliable IT systems.
2.1.1.8. Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
