Cybersecurity Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Lead the identification and implementation of ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. Identify new opportunities to use cybersecurity solutions to solve complex problems. Apply knowledge of Air Force Risk Management Framework ( RMF ) processes and packages. Designate security controls and hardening on various operating systems in accordance with DoD Security Te chn ical Implementation Guides ( STIGs ) .

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience at the enterprise-level developing Risk Management products and working through system accreditations
  • Experience performing responsibilities in each of the six steps of the RMF process
  • Experience developing and leading the development of RMF Assessment Authorization ( A & A ) documentation and body of evidence artifacts to obtain RMF Authority to Operate ( ATO )
  • Experience with leading cybersecurity projects, providing senior subject matter expertise in a cyber domain, and assessing system compliance with security controls
  • Experience applying Department of Defense ( DOD ) STIG and Air Force cybersecurity policies and requirements
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience as an ISSE, ISSM, ISSO, or Security Controls Assessor
  • Experience with eMASS roles, responsibilities, and workflows
  • Experience with Google Workspace cybersecurity
  • Experience managing ACAS / Nessus scans and Trellix
  • Experience with providing configuration management ( CM ) for information system security sof tware, hardware, and firmware
  • DoD IAT Level II 8140 or 8570 certification


Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
