Epsilon C5I (www.epsilonsystems.com/c5i), focused on space and counterspace intelligence production and software development is seeking a Space Systems Chief Scientist with at least 15 years of experience to work out of Dayton, OH. This position will support the intelligence production and supporting architecture for USSF/NSIC. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan, implement and control assigned portions of the program.


  • Establish performance objectives for assigned programs.


  • Ensure cost, technical and schedule objectives are met.


  • Report program progress and status.


  • Serve as primary contact between the Government and the contractor on matters pertaining to the program.


Requires Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business, engineering, science or mathematics.


  • At least fifteen (15+) years of experience managing technical projects/programs.


  • Applicant Must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI access.


  • Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.


  • Proven experience with developing, modifying and reviewing technical documentation.


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.


  • Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.


  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.


  • Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.

  • Regular communication (hearing/speaking).


  • Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.


  • Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).


  • Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk.


  • Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.
