Overview
Nakupuna Consulting is looking for a Business Analyst II to work a s a member of an Agile Project Delivery team to comprehend, analyze, and synthesize complex technical information; support project management tasks leveraging PMI principles for monitoring and reporting on various phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Planning, Implementation, Testing, Documentation; analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement; create, track and ensure timely delivery of project documentation; build cross-team coalitions; and support change management activities.

The following experience is desired:
Clearance: A background investigation at the T3 level is required, as this is not currently a classified position. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Work Location: Work location will be in Arlington, Virginia 2 days on-site with a hybrid option.

- Apply PMI Project Management principles for managing, communicating, and reporting on project goals, schedule, scope, risks, and changes for client deliverables.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to create reports and professional documents that communicate project status to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with technical staff to interpret, organize and draft supporting documents for client meetings and presentations.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases to support analytics and project metrics reporting capabilities.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Synthesize complex technical information into lay terms.
- Develop and distribute documentation to internal and external stakeholders to build understanding of technical concepts.
- Work with team management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Use judgement to select the best communication medium to convey content; may include use of graphics, diagrams, charts, etc.
- Standardization of content with a high level of attention to detail allowing for delivery of documentation with minimal error.
- Participate in daily Agile team meetings and client and milestone meetings to maintain ongoing awareness of project status.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills when facing impediments.

- Experience working in Agile Project Management Environments
- Experience in projects involving direct client delivery
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
- Experience with Qlik and other data analytics software tools
- Use of Atlassian Tool Suite, Jira and Confluence.
