Intake Security Analyst

The Intake Security Analyst role will provide cybersecurity expertise and analysis at the front end of the software request process. The team receives 1600+ software requests each year, making streamlined processes and continuous improvement critical to customer experience and delivery operations. The Intake Security Analyst will support these objectives by actively participating in the intake process to identify and execute intake actions to streamline downstream process operations. The security analysis provided at intake will support work planning and comprehensive requirements documentation.

The Intake Security Analyst will support these objectives by actively participating in the intake process to identify and execute intake actions to streamline downstream process operations. The security analysis provided at intake will support work planning and comprehensive requirements documentation.
Job Duties:
- Work closely with Intake Team analysts to support the processing, solutioning, and management of new cloud software requests from customers.
- Forecast downstream security requirements (both VA & FedRAMP) based on information available at request intake.
- Support work planning and capacity management through security-related project sizing.
- Engage with customers to explain various cybersecurity information including, but not limited to, dependencies, timelines, and roles & responsibilities.
- Maintain data in applicable records within the customer relationship management solution throughout the intake process. This includes, but is not limited to security related notes, status updates, and key dates on product request and authority to operate and security records.
- Regular leadership briefings (weekly or monthly) clearly communicating issues, blockers, and escalation opportunities.
- Document security-related requirements information published in requirements gathering artifacts.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of FedRAMP requirements and processes.
- Ability to present complex cybersecurity information to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in eMASS, or other Federal security package management system(s).
- Ability to forecast downstream security requirements based on business and high-level technical requirements available at intake.
- Bachelors degree
- 5 years of related experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office suite, PowerBI
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- CISSP certification highly desirable
