Grey Matters Defense Solutions is seeking a talented and dedicated Qlik Technical Administrator

About the job:
We are looking for a Qlik Technical Administrator. You will have a strong understanding of data warehousing, database management, and experience with Qlik Sense or QlikView, including proficiency in data loading, application design, security management, system administration, troubleshooting, and ideally, a relevant Qlik certification; this role will also demand excellent communication skills to collaborate with business users and other IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Qlik Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Qlik Sense or QlikView functionalities, including data modeling, and data connections. Knowledge of Qlik Data Integration (QDI) a plus.
• Database Management: Familiarity with various database platforms like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and experience with data extraction and transformation (ETL) processes.
• Scripting: Understanding of Qlik's scripting language for data loading and manipulation.
• System Administration: Experience managing Qlik server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and security settings.
• Networking: Basic understanding of network protocols and infrastructure to ensure connectivity.
• Business Acumen:
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and provide support.
• Requirements Gathering: Elicit and document user needs for Qlik applications.

Preferred Skills:

• • Problem-solving: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Qlik applications and data.
  • Communication: Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Teamwork: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, in an Agile environment, to deliver projects.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of Qlik applications, configurations, and processes.
• Experience Required: Extensive expertise in managing and administering complex Qlik deployments, deep understanding of Qlik architecture, and ability to lead technical projects.

About you:

• Security Clearance:
  US Citizen, located in the US. Preference given to applicants in Norfolk, VA or Denver, CO. Have an Active DoD Security Clearance.

• Travel:
  Travel required 10% of the time.

• Education:
  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.

Salary Range: $135,000 - $175,000
