Grey Matters Defense Solutions is seeking a talented and dedicated Qlik QDI Engineer

About the job:
GMDS is seeking a remote Senior Qlik Replicate/Compose Developer to support a large 5-year contract with the US Navy's Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Norfolk, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Qlik Replicate and Qlik Compose ETL and ELT solutions in an Oracle environment
• Leverage Qlik Replicate to efficiently replicate and ingest data into Oracle target systems,
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures within an Oracle environment
• Develop, manage and configure data warehouse sources and targets,
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design data integration workflows
• Participate in resolving technical issues that arise during development.
• Communicate and coordinate with members of the development team to work across multiple projects.
• Assist with documentation for IT technical processes and software user guides
• Other duties as assigned or required

Preferred Skills:

• Qlik Replicate/Compose Developer with 5+ years of experience
• Good understanding of data warehouses, with exposure to CDC, Data Movement, and Data Transformation
• Proficient in SQL with a solid understanding of data design principles and dimensional data modeling.
• Project experience working in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in customer-facing professional services, preferably with the Federal Government or Department of Defense
• Experience in an Agile development environment utilizing tools such as JIRA and Confluence (or comparable tools from other vendors).

About you:

• Security Clearance:
  Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

• Travel:
  Up to 10% travel to Norfolk, VA will be required.

• Education:
  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.

Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $150,000.00
