CGI Federal is currently looking for Sr. IT Subject Matter Experts with active Top Secret clearance to support a large project for a federal government client.
This position will be based in Washington, DC.
Fonctions et responsabilits:
Provides technical expertise for the development of program requirements relating to information technology, application analysis, software development, and systems integration.
Designs, plans, installs and supports network communications systems.
Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
Conducts testing of network design.
Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
Ensures the quality of the work produced maintains the highest standards.
Communicate and coordinate with the back office to ensure that customer requirements are properly captured
Participates in the development of the technical solution through the mandated processes
Participate in program readiness and design reviews
Attend technical and programmatic meetings with customers, system users, development team members and represent the organization in matters pertaining to the project
Willingness to travel as needed to support customer meetings and technical reviews
Qualits requises pour russir dans ce rle:
10+ years of progressive experience in participating in related projects.
Understanding of Agile development processes and tool chains, ability to work with minimal formal requirements
Ability to translate customer needs into buildable features
Training experience, with understanding of planning and executing training events, preferably up to large inter-group exercises
Understanding of how to adapt Agile processes to customer culture and requirements.
Experience in conducting system engineering, and analytical activities using structured techniques
Experience in applying technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques to solve problems
Experience establishing and maintaining working relationship with all levels of the organization, including executive level customers, users, and other peer groups
Project skills including cost, schedule, as well as risk and opportunity analysis, tracking and mitigation
Experience with IT infrastructure design including Active Directory, DNS, firewalls, TCP/IP, networking, VMware, storage, Windows, and Linux
Experience developing a technical baseline (requirements/architecture) and participating in a development team to implementation
Demonstrated excellence in communications with customers, co-contractors, engineers, and management, both oral and written

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $108,600.00 - $213,800.00.
