SPAARK, Inc is seeking a Help Desk Support Service Specialist to provide IT functions to the Army users at RRMC.
Primary Responsibilities:
IT Technicians are responsible for IT functionality provided to the Army users at the Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC). In concert with Government IT, ensures that operational readiness of all offices and workspaces, and IT/Communications hardware and systems in direct support of the Army Operations Center (AOC) personnel at the Site.

Primary Responsibilities:
IT Technicians are responsible for IT functionality provided to the Army users at the Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC). In concert with Government IT, ensures that operational readiness of all offices and workspaces, and IT/Communications hardware and systems in direct support of the Army Operations Center (AOC) personnel at the Site.
Qualifications:
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 desktop support to HQDA AOC personnel
- Provide Tier 1 and 2 Video Teleconference (VTC) support to AOC users at Site R
- Provide on-site troubleshooting and repair for all ERG designated local area networks (LAN)
- Maintain VTC hardware and coordinate and schedule VTCs in support of the ERG from Site R
- Interface with on-site IT/communications support organization(s) to resolve local network and backbone infrastructure problems
- Coordinate turn-ins or transfer of HQDA ERG property
- Work in concert with the Communications Security (COMSEC) Custodians at each relocation site to ensure software for KOV-14/KSV 21s (Fortezza Cards) used with the Secure Terminal Equipment (STE) telephone instruments are updated as required and that all STE hardware upgrades are also applied when directed by the appropriate authority
- Assist in implementing appropriate Army IT/IM system administration procedures and guidelines
- Facilitate a bi-monthly COOP IT Working Group meeting consisting of all COOP IT stakeholders and reporting back to COOP Working Group on initiatives
- Providing system administration for all AOC workstations and servers located at Site R
- Repairing and maintaining workstation and server hardware
- Assists in managing the Government IT Failover capability maintained at the Site
- Responsible for management of the IT Storage Area Network
- Coordinate with Government IT and Installation IT service organizations on all aspects of IT support to HQDA
Qualifications
- Required Clearance: Ability to be approved for and maintain a DoD Security Clearance, TS/SCI
- Required Certification(s): DODD 8570 Certified Information Assurance Technician (IAT) level 1: (A+ CE, Network+ CE, SSCP or CCNA Security)
- Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent
- Required Experience: 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
