Chenega Systems (CS) provides federal agencies empowered solutions in Cybersecurity and Data Visualization. Our Subject Matter Experts offer decades of experience working in the federal marketplace and the data visualization environment.

The Project Manager - Data Management will be responsible for supervising the Data Management Department for the SP-205 Training Support contract.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying and mitigating risks and issues to IT projects
  • Inform and report to leadership and key stakeholders regarding the status of project goals and objectives
  • Coordinate meetings for IT projects, including status meetings, program reviews, and other meetings as required
  • Track action items assigned during formal meetings and request updates from assignees
  • Generate, review, and recommend updates to standard operating procedures, program documentation, letters to file (LTFs), memos to file (MTFs), risk acceptance letters (RALs), plans of actions and milestones (POA&Ms)
  • Assist the customer in performing as a member of the Configuration Control Board (CCB), ensure production sites maintain customer-approved minimum standard system baseline configurations
  • Perform system/site reviews to monitor and verify site configuration
  • Generate test plans and assist in performing system/software acceptance tests (SATs)
  • Coordinate with outside vendors while providing technical support in isolation and correction of technical problems
  • Track hardware and software configurations for all assigned systems
  • Perform analysis and provide recommendations for sustainment and modernization efforts
  • Track and monitor cybersecurity testing and assessment results/vulnerability findings in appropriate tracking systems
  • Provide monthly program status reports
  • Ensure timely completion of multiple, simultaneous, independent events and projects of moderate complexity
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, business management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT projects
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD 8570 IAM-I/IAT-II certification
  • Secret clearance required


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Familiarity with Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Ability to coordinate issue resolution with individuals of diverse backgrounds and technical abilities
  • Ability to apply effective networking skills to carry out job responsibilities
  • Ability to gather pertinent information from a variety of sources to perform duties
  • Ability to coordinate multiple work projects and other responsibilities
  • Ability to work in some phases of systems analysis and consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
