Description
SAIC is seeking a District Systems Administrator in Mobile, AL to support the US Army Corps of Engineers on the Revolutionary IT Services (USACE RITS).
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This person will manage and maintain currently supported and subsequent Microsoft (MS) Windows Server Operating Systems (OS) on physical and virtual operating environments. Assist in storage and data management, specifically file and folder permissions. Support operational transition of enterprise solutions into production. Provide support for Active Directory (AD) accounts and groups, network storage, servers, and Exchange accounts. Primary escalation POC for local servers, storage, network, and telecom outages, projects, and Enterprise Operations issues. Perform SIPRnet support which includes but is not limited to:

- Creation of new accounts in AD, network and data access, and DEE mailbox
- Installation, configuration, imaging, and updating physical File Servers
- Configuration, imaging, and updating of physical workstations
- Software installations
- SVOIP phone support
- Secure VTC support
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS Degree and 5 years of experience; four (4) additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Previous SIPRnet support experience
- Comprehension of NTFS file share permissions.
- Fundamental understanding of authentication mechanisms such as Kerberos and LDAP
- Basic networking experience (TCP/IP, routing, SSH, OpenVPN)
- Must be an independent problem solver with troubleshooting, decision making and analytical skills.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- Current DoD 8570 IA Baseline Certification, IAT Level II (example: Security+ CE)
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start; SAIC will help to obtain
- Must be a current US Citizen
