Systems Engineer
Location: Rome, NY
Clearance: Active TS/SCI
Are you a highly skilled Systems Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance looking to make an impact in national security? Join our team supporting the Air Force Research Lab in Rome, NY, where you'll work on groundbreaking cybersecurity and R&D initiatives.
Job Description: Seeking a Systems Engineer to support the SecureView Program Management Office in Rome NY (onsite). Duties will include the software/hardware testing of SecureView, providing support (installation/configuration) of our internal lab infrastructure and assisting with smaller R&D efforts as directed by our stakeholders.
Required Skills
• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience
• Linux/RHEL administration
• Virtualization - eg. VMWare, Citrix, Xen
• Experience installing/configuring PC hardware and peripherals
• Experience with Hardware and Software testing
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Compliant (Security+ Cert or equivalent certification)
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance
• Experience with Microsoft Windows OS (server and client)
Preferred Skills and Education
• VDI (VMWare Horizon View or Citrix XenDesktop) engineering and support experience
• Familiarity with current cross-domain technologies
• Experience working with Public Key Infrastructure
