Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Governance Analyst to join our team. The position is remote with the possibility of occasional client site travel that will differ from engagement to engagement but is expected to be 10% or less.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and develop a comprehensive data governance framework that aligns with the Client's strategic objectives
  • Establishment of a data, analytics, and AI governance council
  • Develop data governance council workflows and procedures
  • Develop an enterprise data stewardship program, ensuring that data stewards effectively manage data assets within their domains
  • Design, develop, implement, and administer data policies, standards, and processes
  • Configure, manage, and administer data governance tools, including data catalog and data quality tools
  • Develop and implement data quality frameworks, assess and monitor data integrity, and resolve data quality issues
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the data governance program


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Three or more years of experience supporting data governance activities, such as data stewardship, data catalog, data quality, and data policies, procedures, and standards
  • Three or more years of experience working with data governance tools
  • Experience working for a consulting firm
  • Experience working for a public sector customer
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A data management certification (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional)
  • Experience working within an AWS environment
  • Experience with Department of Defense clients


Security Clearance Requirements:

  • US citizenship with a Public Trust and ability to obtain a Secret level clearance.


Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
