You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist in the Human Capital Management Group of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will serve as the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Coordinator.
- You will provide advice and guidance to the NAWCWD workforce on DAWIA including: DAWIA certification, training, Acquisition Corps (AC) and Acquisition Workforce Tuition Assistance (AWTAP).
- You will ensure that acquisition position employees are properly designated and coded in official personnel and manpower systems.
- You will work with managers, candidates, OCHR, Human Resources Advisors, Naval Acquisition Career Center, and various other program Points of Contact in preparing and processing hiring documentation.
- You will assist with planning, organizing and execution of various Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) events.
