Under general supervision, the Administrative Assistant performs a wide range of routine to complex administrative duties in support of a program, department or manager(s). Acts as a liaison to internal and external contacts in a manner that promotes the professional image of the Company.
  • Performs routine to advanced administrative tasks in support of the daily operations of the department.
  • Plans, prepares, and coordinates upper management's travel activities, schedules and accommodations. Processes expense reports for travel costs incurred (both company and employee paid).
  • Reconcile the AFE Travel card monthly, in accordance with Accounts Payable, policies and procedures. Ensure all receipts have been received, submit expense report(s), dispute unknown transactions.
  • Writes and maintains reports to update management of relevant information. Status first line management on a regular basis.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and other practices set forth by upper management.
  • Performs HR functions for new hires, terminations, benefit changes, open enrollment, and inputs employee changes into HRIS system.
  • Coordinates drug testing program and ensures quarterly drug testing is being completed IAW contract or CBA.
  • Update personnel records and ensures the documentation is appropriate and up-to-date.
  • May back-up and provide support to Site Admin's.
  • Provide support to employees with payroll, leave, benefit questions.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned or requested.


Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • Five (5) years of related experience providing administrative support in government contracting environment.
  • Strong analytical and organization skills to oversee multiple work assignments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization**NAC-I T1 Public Trust.. Note: US Citizenship is required for a facility credentials/authorization at the work location.
