Job Title: Senior Cyber Analyst
Location: San Antonio, TX
Position Summary:
Everfox is seeking a qualified full-time professional services analyst to perform duties as an Insider Threat Analyst. In this role they will conduct thorough research and perform all source analysis utilizing available User Activity Monitoring (UAM) and User Entity Behavioral Analysis (UEBA) data coupled with additional data sources as deemed necessary. Analysts produce threat assessments and/or reports documenting anomalous behavior derived from data streams which may indicate insider threat activity and/or the misuse of information systems.
This individual must be highly motivated, have great interpersonal skills, and be technically proficient with Linux and Microsoft operating system administration and networking. The successful candidate will be offered specialized training to support our technologies and is expected to become proficient in all aspects of complex software solution deployment. Additionally, the professional services engineer will provide training, troubleshooting, and on-site/remote support to customers. Selected candidate will be responsible for translating the client's business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs for large complex technology solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems.

What You'll be Doing:
- Brief findings to customer to include the tasking associated with applicable analytical tools and exposure to current analytic methodology, prepare, and conduct tailored briefings and debriefings.
- Conduct initial assessments of baseline data and provide recommendations for increased analysis.
- Provide formalized case or referral documentation based upon threat analysis for referral and response actions to be taken by the government, to include manage and track open, in-progress, and closed case or referral documentation providing information and updates during weekly and monthly briefings.
- Provide support in the preparation of formal and informal reports of findings utilizing approved reporting procedures and documentation.
- Provide initial and ongoing threat analysis, threat forecasts and trends, and threat alerts with recommended countermeasures, to include UAM and UEBA filters/policies to detect threat activities.
- Participate and provide recommendations to insider threat or counterintelligence damage assessments conducted by the proper authorities responsible and approved by the customer.
Things You Must Have to Apply:
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
- BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years demonstrated experience in cyber security to include practices/methodologies, associated technologies, application design and development and/or experience in an operational environment
- Must possess strong verbal and technical written communication skills
- Must be able to coordinate collaboratively across traditional engineering disciplines, with management and with customers
- Experience with supporting/addressing customer training objectives
- Desired Certifications: SANS GSEC, CISSP, or Security+
