Adventure Technology Services is a small IT contractor headquartered in Hanover, MD that provides high-level solutions to Federal Government customers and is always looking for high-quality professionals to join our team.
Position Title: Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)
Required Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Location: Annapolis Junction
Description:
Hardware inventory updates & change log updates, software inventory updates and change log status work various secure the enterprise (STE) activities, review Xacta notices, complete SEAR audit log records, review and address POAM for IAVAx, coordinate with system owners and system administrators, perform various SSP efforts, review scans & work with system owners & system administrators to address and remediate issues, address computer incident security reports, begin authorization for new systems and reauthorization for legacy systems, etc.
Education & Related Experience:
Minimum education and experience level: High School/GED with twenty (20) years of relevant
experience. Associate's degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree with
twelve (12) years of relevant experience
IAT level 2 Certification such as Security+
Salary Range: $175,000-$200,000
Salary ranges are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to:
Knowledge, skills, & abilities Years of experience
Education/Certifications Program placement
Duties & responsibilities Internal equity
More detailed information will be provided once those factors are known and addressed.
OVERTIME STATEMENT:
40 hours is the standard workweek. Some programs may allow additional hours to be worked as needed. A limited number of programs have on-call requirements where compensation is provided for being engaged to wait. In all circumstances, technical employees will be paid for all time worked.
BONUS STATEMENT:
All billable employees are eligible to earn quarterly bonuses that are based on the number of hours worked for that period. This hourly requirement is roughly 92% of hours available to bill in a given quarter. Quarterly Hours Bonuses are paid out on the same payroll as the time worked in that prior quarter (typically 21 days after the quarter ends.)
