Our direct end client is looking for a Document Writer to support a US Homeland Security program. This multi-year Federal project is located in Annapolis Junction, MD, and contains some remote work options. Feel good about your work, as your team looks to ensure the safety of flights in the United States with passenger screening. As a Document Writer, you will provide product, program and/or technical development and design documentation support related to deliverables generated by the operation teams.
Per our Federal Government contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens eligible for a Secret Clearance. (Preference is given to those with an existing clearance.)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Ability to review existing documentation and identify documents impacted by the updated processes and manage the update, business review, and approval of the documentation
• 5+ years of experience writing technical documents, including visual representations like diagrams, using Visio
• Experience writing technical policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Per our Federal Government contract, candidates must be US Citizens eligible for a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
• ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP)
• Experience in writing policies and procedures related to cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services, or security efforts.
• Experience with process improvement and design
• Active Secret Clearance
