TRISTAR is seeking a Engineer, Mechanical IV for our government customer in Crane, IN
The Engineer, Mechanical IV will be expected to help in all engineering efforts conducted within the AN/SLQ-32(V)6 engineering group items include but are not limited to Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs), Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT), and Engineering Technical Support
Position Responsibilities:
Engineering efforts include the following:
Engineering Change Proposals
Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs), Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT), and Engineering Technical Support
Individual will be expected to assist in development and of all ECPs by original equipment manufacturer and in-service engineering agency
Responsible for gathering a detailed understand of the AN/SLQ-32(V)6 system in order to conducting regular reviews and updates to existing MRCs along with develop new MRCs when needed.
For EQT, the individual will be responsible for traveling in support of EQT events in different locations, help assemble and disassemble test assets, assist in operating the AN/SLQ-32 variants while under test, and help with reviewing test reports. Individual will be expected to help engineering provide distance support for troubleshooting of systems through reviewing documents and developing system knowlEDGE
Requirements
Requires knowledge of AN/SLQ-32(V)6 system
Must be a US Citizen
An Active Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain one
Education and Certification:
Must Have a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
