TRISTAR is seeking a Electrical, Engineer IV for our government customer in Crane, IN.
Journey level Electrical/Electronics engineer with RF test design and development experience
Will work alongside and support government engineers in the design and development of automated RF test systems architecture, write/co-write technical papers, and develop Technical Data Packages (TDP)
Position Responsibilities
Conduct tests or experiments necessary to analyze, redesign, or modify equipment to improve RF test capability
Lead/Assist in RF test planning to evaluate Electronic Counter Measure system/subsystem's performance from guidelines, specifications, and performance requirements
Analyze technical data to determine applicability to design problems
Using research and data gathering, develop test requirements, equipment modifications, and test procedures
Requirements
Three (3) years relative experience
• Knowledge shall include skills with Vector Network Analyzers, spectrum analyzers, Oscilloscopes, RF amplifiers, and RF test fixtures
• Experience MATLAB and object-oriented programming is required
• Ability to travel and transverse US Navy ships
• Skills necessary to operate as a team member/team lead to conduct research/knowledge sharing/installs/diagnostics support of Electronic Countermeasure systems, subsystems, and component
• Must be a US Citizen
• An Active Secret Clearance is required or be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret or higher, interim may be required before starting
Education and Certification
• BS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
