Torden is seeking qualified Pashto / Punjabi linguists for immediate fill on US Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay (GTMO).

- Interpretation Proficiency in Pashto (PU) and Punjabi (PJ)
- Speaking, listening, reading comprehension ILR must meet 3 minimum in PU and PJ and 2+ in English
- Demonstrated ability to conduct accurate translation, transcription, and interpretation
- Must have typing and computer skills
- Must be able to think quickly and work in a professional atmosphere as part of a team
- Ability to understand the essentials of all speech in a standard dialect and have broad vocabulary to rarely require assistance for paraphrasing or explanation.
- Ability to follow accurately the essentials of conversations between educated native speakers
- Ability to understand radio broadcasts, news stories similar to wire service reports, oral reports, some oral technical reports, and public addresses on non-technical subjects.
- Due to location of assignment, must meet medical and dental screening requirements as well as immunizations up to date
- Individuals with an active SECRET security clearance
- All candidates must have a valid U.S. Government Counterintelligence (CI) screening (within 2 years) and valid CI polygraph (within 5 years) for consideration
