IntelliBridge is looking for a skilled Oracle Developer.The Oracle developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Oracle. You will collaborate with various teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions. In addition, you may work with the team to convert on-premises Oracle Database to AWS GovCloud in an Oracle RDS platform.

Location: Washington D.C. Metro Area

Responsibilities:
  • Work with the existing team to become familiar with the ongoing Decennial Budget Integration Tool (DBIT) Oracle Database and System On-Premises.
  • Work on maintaining and enhancing DBIT features and designing/implementing new features using a combination of APEX, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL.
  • Integrate third-party APEX Plugins and JavaScript libraries.
  • Evaluate recent technology options, recommending the adoption of recent technologies into the solution.
  • Collaborate with the existing team to potentially convert our On-Premises Oracle Database over to AWS GovCloud in an Oracle RDS platform.
  • Create tables, views, materialized views, indexes, constraints, and PL/SQL-based ETL routines in support of our business intelligence platform.
  • Apply changes to objects and code to keep pace with the yearly changes in the system and ensure that the ETL runs efficiently and often as possible.
  • Work in an Agile environment within JIRA for your sprint workload and backlog grooming of future stories and tasks.

Must Haves:
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on information technology implementation experience.
  • Have increasing responsibility administering, optimizing, and maintaining Oracle database and PostgreSQL.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent.
  • Must be able to attain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Extensive knowledge of coding languages, including Linux, Java, XML, and SQL.
  • Understanding of BI and Reporting Platforms along with industry trends and direction in BI/reporting.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging IT (Information Technology) products, services, and processes.
  • Knowledge of Source Control and Project Management tools like JIRA.
  • Experience with Confluence, collaborative workplace with the team to create, edit, and organize information together.
  • Demonstrated skill of database operations, including backup strategy, data security and cloud platform.
  • Experience building data warehouse fact and dimension tables, views, materialized views, and bitmap/b-tree indexes.
  • Solid experience using PL/SQL code to perform ETL for both full loads and incremental loads from an OLTP system to a Dimensional Data Warehouse.
  • Experience in designing & implementing Logical & Physical Data Model on Oracle/SQL Server & platform for Data Warehouse & Data Marts.
  • Strong Data Modeling experience using ER diagram, Dimensional data modeling, star schema modeling, and snow-flake modeling.
  • Experience programming with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server, Linux, etc.
  • Experience designing and developing web applications using Oracle APEX.
  • Ability to deliver modern elegant web applications using a combination of APEX and JavaScript.
  • Oracle SQL / Oracle PL/SQL programming experience.
  • Experience in managing web page layouts with APEX templates and themes.
  • HTML5 / CSS knowledge.
  • QA (testing and documentation) experience for PL/SQL development and peer reviews.
  • Must have AWS Cloud Database Technologies (DynamoDB, AWS CLI, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda, Aurora, EMR, DMS data migration, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, SQS/SNS, etc.)
  • Experience with designing, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure using Amazon Web Services (AWS, including EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, CloudFront, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CloudFormation and IAM).
  • Strong experience in Automation tools such as Ansible.
  • Experience with converting PL/SQL ETL to other options available in AWS (GovCloud preferred) such as Glue or equivalent.
  • Preferred experience for Oracle to Redshift/Aurora conversions where the majority of the conversion is not automatable.
  • Familiarity with AWS and Azure services for cloud.
  • Experience in log analysis, database cloud observability/monitoring tools (Splunk, solar winds).
  • Good knowledge of Python and Big Data technologies.
  • Experience working within an Agile teaming environment with multiple vendors and stakeholders.
  • Ability to interact with business users for new project development and enhancements and converting the non-technical into technical.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with team members and partners in a distributed project environment.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.

Nice to Have:

USCB experience or working in the federal sector.
