Security Cooperation Budget Subject Matter Expert

As a Security Cooperation Budget Subject Matter Expert (SME), you'll bring your resource management expertise to work on projects for the security cooperation mission. You'll support security cooperation resource allocation by developing briefing slides, numerical and narrative supporting justifications, issue papers, and other documentation. You'll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes in support of the security cooperation budget and guidance program.

You'll guide the work we do for the security cooperation mission and the solutions we deliver for defense strategy implementation.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in resource management, including supporting budget formulation, justification, and execution, in a U.S. Government agency
  • 5+ years of experience with regional security issues or international security cooperation efforts, specifically with legislative, financial, programmatic guidelines, foreign military sales, defense training, or education activities
  • Knowledge of security cooperation resource allocation processes
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree in Financial Management, Political Science, Intelligence, Foreign or International Affairs, or National Security Studies
  • Monitoring and Evaluation Certification


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with supporting developing Program Objective Memoranda (POM) or Budget Execution Submission (BES) narratives for security cooperation programming
  • Ability to develop briefing slides, issue papers, and other supporting documentation that support the legislative and budget review processes


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
