Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services' company, is looking for a Financial Analyst to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) in the mission to defend against cyber threat actors that target the United States. The Financial Analyst will lead and direct the activities of a 6-person team to support all areas of the federal budget financial management and reporting, planning and analysis and reporting, and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide data for the analytical support of contracts. Assist in developing financial trend analyses.
  • Assist in execution activities, such as organizing and tracking contract invoices and deliverables, monitoring burn rates, and analysis of advance liquidations.
  • Assist with developing and reviewing project-level budgets and spend plans.
  • Assist with identifying, developing, reviewing, and reconciling budget and financial data sets.
  • Provide updates and maintain data sets to assist in decision making.
  • Assist with data entry.
  • Assist in tracking expenditure of funds.
  • Assist with preparing and processing funding documents, analyzing variances, and reporting.
  • Assist with closeout tasks.
  • Provide support with all required organization and program financial reports.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining tools and databases.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years budget formulation experience.
  • Minimum 5 years DHS Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) experience.
  • Possess a Secret government clearance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluent in English.
  • Must be able to support a hybrid work schedule throughout the week at client location in Washington, DC.
