Cybermedia Technologies (CTEC), www.ctec-corp.com, has been a CMMI Maturity Level 3 company providing technology and management solutions to commercial and government clients across the USA for 28 years. CTEC seeks a fully remote Sr. Business Analyst (BA) to join our team.
Client:
CTEC develops and delivers innovative customer-centric technologies and solutions that facilitate the Office of Personnel Management’s (OPMs) Health and Insurance business unit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Requirements Planning: Define Objectives - Establish the goals and objectives of the requirements management process. Identify Stakeholders - Determine who will be involved in the process and their roles. Select Tools and Techniques - Choose the appropriate tools and techniques for managing requirements.
• Requirements Elicitation: Gather Requirements - Use techniques such as interviews, surveys, workshops, and document analysis to collect requirements from stakeholders. Document Requirements - Record the gathered requirements in a clear and organized manner.
• Requirements Analysis: Analyze Requirements - Evaluate the requirements to ensure they are complete, feasible, and aligned with project goals. Prioritize Requirements - Determine the priority of each requirement based on stakeholder needs and project constraints.
• Requirements Specification: Create Requirements Documents - Develop detailed requirements documents, including functional, non-functional, and performance requirements. Use Cases and Scenarios - Create use cases and scenarios to illustrate how the system will be used. Specify Agile Epics and User Stories. Format User Stories in the “As A,” “I Want To,” “So That,” and “Acceptance Criteria” form.
• Requirements Validation: Review and Validate - Ensure the requirements are accurate and complete by reviewing them with stakeholders. Resolve Conflicts - Address any conflicting requirements through discussions and negotiations.
• Requirements Management and Traceability - Track Changes - Monitor and document any changes to the requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain Traceability - Ensure that all requirements are traceable to their origins and throughout the project. Establish requirements baseline.
• Requirements Verification: Verify Implementation - Check that the implemented solution meets the specified requirements. Conduct Testing - Perform testing to ensure the system functions as expected and meets stakeholder needs.
• Requirements Communication: Communicate with Stakeholders - Keep stakeholders informed and involved throughout the process. Provide Updates - Regularly update stakeholders on the status of requirements and any changes.
• Works under minimal supervision with minor guidance from senior personnel.
Skills & Work Experience:
• Professional Experience: at least five (8+) years of experience with Business Analysis in a client-facing capacity.
• Minimum required certification: Certified Business Analyst or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of SW Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
• Working knowledge of software cloud/web applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and active listening skills and the ability to interact effectively at all layers of the organization.
Preferred:
• Agile SAFe or Scrum Master certification or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Test-Driven Design (TDD).
• Working knowledge of Customer Experience (CX) and User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI), Section 508, United States Web Design System (USWDS), and Customer Journey Mapping (CJM).
• Working knowledge of federal HR benefits administration for healthcare and insurance.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline.  Equivalent professional experience will be considered instead of a degree.
Clearance:
• Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain OPM Public Trust Clearance.
