Elastic Engineer: We are dedicated to developing innovative solutions for managing large-scale IT networks. We are expanding our project team and seeking a skilled and motivated Elastic Engineer to help us scale this project to a broader audience.
**Role Overview:**
As an Elastic Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the data import pipeline of our web-based product, which aids network engineers in managing extensive networks. You will collaborate within a small team of 3 to 5 members, using a development process similar to SCRUM. Your focus will be on optimizing and maintaining our data pipelines and enhancing the performance of our multi-service .NET Core application, supported by PostgreSQL and using REST APIs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to support the import and processing of large datasets for network management.
- Collaborate with the development team to optimize search and data indexing using Elasticsearch.
- Integrate Elastic Stack solutions into a multi-service .NET Core application.
- Utilize GitLab and GitLab CI for source code management and continuous integration workflows.
- Write and maintain SQL queries for data retrieval and processing.
- Debug, analyze, and optimize data queries and application performance.
**Qualifications:**
*Essential:*
- 2+ years of experience in Network Engineering.
- Experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of Regular Expressions.
- U.S. citizenship.
*Preferred:*
- Experience with C#, Java, or similar programming languages.
- SQL proficiency.
- Familiarity with writing parsers or working with data parsing techniques.
- Experience with data pipeline tools or ETL processes.
- Python or Perl experience is a plus.
