As a Material Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in conducting warehouse and logistical operations to support our client's law enforcement training of host nation partners. Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining complete and accurate inventory records (e.g., receiving, shipping, inventory management) in compliance with contractual requirements and Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Material Coordinator: Pay commensurate with experience.

Material Coordinator Responsibilities Include:
  • Train, coach, lead, and supervise assigned Warehouse Specialists to ensure their detailed understanding of assigned responsibilities and SOPs, including the use of hand-held scanners to perform warehousing activities as needed (e.g., receiving, shipping, transfers, cycle counts).
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of Department SOPs. Recommend updates as needed.
  • Ensure item details have been verified to source documents in accordance with the Department SOPs, prior to scanning data into the Royal 4 WISE Warehouse Management application.
  • Review work of assigned Warehouse Specialists to ensure completeness and accuracy with Department SOPs. Provide feedback and corrective action for inaccuracies.
  • Notify Material Expeditor of discrepancies, collaborate to resolution, and update the inventory system as required.
  • Update ATA deliverables tracker daily and verify completeness and accuracy weekly.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Collaborate with Material Coordinators from other Departments to enable effective and efficient operations.
  • Perform monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventory counts as directed
  • Participate as a member of the CNSL-ATA Royal 4 WISE working group.
  • Check supplies weekly to ensure the team has the necessary resources to complete their daily task.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.


Material Coordinator Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, and 2 years of experience in logistics support.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with Royal 4 WISE Warehouse Management System (WMS) is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task between concurrent work orders and projects on a daily basis.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy for compliant and complete reports, documentation, and data entry tasks.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and practices.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification, ability to be certified within 60 days of hire date.
  • Must pass pre-employment requirements of Cherokee Federal.
