Network Engineer

Our client, a technology solutions provider company located in San Francisco, CA, needs aNetwork Engineer for permanent employment. The Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting their existing network infrastructure.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of network engineering experience in Cisco based environments
• 3+ years’ experience supporting/managing hosted datacenters.
• Experience with Cisco ISE, Cisco Wireless, Cisco DCNM Administration, Cisco ASA /Firepower firewalls.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Participate on 24/7 call rotation
• Experience working in cloud environment preferably Azure
• 4 days a week onsite Mon-Thurs and supporting San Francisco, San Ramon, and Sunnyvale Data Centers.

Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:

• Python coding
• Previous experience working in the investment firm industry
• Cisco Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP
• Cisco Nexus
• Ansible/Terraform experience
• Observability monitoring tools (preferably Dynatrace)
• Cisco DNA experience
• SD-WAN
• Automate network deployment and data collection tasks to enhance the productivity and validity of the results.
