We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 508 Accessibility Specialist and Web/Data Analyst to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and leverage data visualization tools to support web and data analysis initiatives. This role requires expertise in Section 508 compliance, as well as proficiency in tools like Alchemer, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Looker Studio, to create impactful and accessible reports and dashboards.

$ 110,000.00 - $ 135,000.00 /Yr.

Responsibilities
- Conduct accessibility audits for digital content, ensuring compliance with Section 508 and WCAG standards.
- Provide recommendations and implement solutions to address accessibility issues for web content, documents, and other digital materials. This includes the collaboration with program teams to develop 508 compliant templates for presentations, web pages, newsletters, and other web hosted content.
- Collaborate with program staff to design and develop accessible dashboards and data visualizations using Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Looker Studio.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret web traffic and performance data to provide actionable insights.
- Develop user-friendly reports and presentations to communicate data findings to stakeholders.
- Develop survey tools (on Alchemer), work on data collection and analysis, and convert data results into 4-pagers cell sheets which will include best practices and database creation maintenance.
- Analyze and reconcile with Development Information Solution (DIS).
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in accessibility and data visualization.
- Train and support team members in accessibility best practices and tools.
Qualifications
- The ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
- Work Experience: At least 4+ years of professional experience in Section 508 compliance, accessibility evaluation, or web/data analysis.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Required skills:
- Proficiency in Section 508 and WCAG guidelines and tools (e.g., WAVE, AXE, JAWS, NVDA).
- Experience using Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Looker Studio for data analysis and visualization.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex data in an understandable format.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
- Experience in website analytics and optimization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Looker Studio).
- Proficiency in Section 508 and WCAG guidelines and tools (e.g., WAVE, AXE, JAWS, NVDA).
- Experience using Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Looker Studio for data analysis and visualization.
- Experience developing surveys in Alchemer (or other survey platform) to collect data and then provide analysis and recommendations from the data results collected.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex data in an understandable format.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
