  • Lead and oversee the migration of Entra ID and Active Directory services to Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure platforms.
  • Develop and implement strategies, processes, and procedures for the effective migration of Entra ID and Active Directory to the cloud.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to assess current on-premises environments, identify migration requirements, and establish migration timelines.
  • Ensure the readiness and compatibility of on-premises systems for cloud integration and migration.
  • Design and implement security measures, policies, and controls to safeguard Entra ID and Active Directory services in the cloud environment.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and reliability of Entra ID and Active Directory services in the cloud.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Entra ID and Active Directory services.
  • Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions to educate IT teams and end-users on new cloud-based Entra ID and Active Directory functionalities.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to Entra ID, Active Directory, M365, and Azure technologies.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners as needed to support migration and ongoing operations.


Required Skills

  • HS Diploma or GED AND 25 years of experience or Bachelor's Degree AND 20 years of experience
  • Experience with identity federation, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions
  • Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Entra ID and Active Directory services in both on-premises and cloud environments
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (eg, PowerShell) for automation and configuration management tasks
  • Proven experience as an Entra ID Engineer, Active Directory Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on cloud migration and Azure integration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex storage issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure platforms, including identity management, authentication mechanisms, and security controls
  • IAT Level 2
  • CompTIA Security+ CE
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $145,000. This range is a good faith estimate that reflects various experience levels. At CyberCore, we consider multiple factors when determining compensation, including the specific role and its responsibilities, the candidate's professional experience, geographic location, education, and relevant skills. This range is not a guarantee of salary, as final compensation may also be influenced by contractual requirements and other considerations.
