Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Java Developer (Springboot) to support our work with a federal client. This is a hybrid role in Columbia, MD, requiring you to spend a portion of the time onsite. This position is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.
Candidates must have an ACTIVE Final Secret Security Clearance.

In this role, you will:
- Lead the design and development of multiple applications for a large-scale Federal IT Program using Java/Spring-based REST APIs along with a Web 2.0 framework and a continuous integration environment.
- Be responsible for developing Java/Spring solutions, as well as leading teams of developers in implementing solutions and conducting detailed design reviews.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of hands-on development experience, including at least 3+ years of Java/Spring development experience
- 3+ years developing enterprise solutions using the Java Spring framework
- Detailed understanding of database schema design/SQL
- Active Final Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a large-scale Federal IT Program
- Experience with SAFe Agile delivery framework
