The Deputy Program Director supports the Program Director in all aspects of program management, including the supervision of program staff, development of work plans, and coordination of technical activities on our USAID contract and support their mission of creating sustainable and resilient communities. This role ensures that all program activities are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Deputy Program Director also serves as acting Program Director in their absence.

Remote: This full-time remote position with travel as needed will work Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM EST.

Responsibilities
- Support the Program Director in managing all aspects of program operations.
- Supervise program staff, ensuring effective performance and alignment with program goals.
- Assist in developing and implementing work plans for the program.
- Coordinate technical activities to ensure they align with program objectives.
- Ensure timely, on-budget delivery of program activities while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Serve as the acting Program Director in the absence of the Program Director.
Qualifications
- The ability to obtain a public trust.
- Work Experience: At least 10 years of experience in international development, with a minimum of 5 years in a management role on USAID-funded programs.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in International Development, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Required Skills: Strong project management skills, familiarity with USAID regulations, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
