Aircraft electrician assigned to the Modification Work Order (MWO) team. The MWO electrician will build cables and harnesses of varying sizes and lengths, assemble MWO kits, and package MWO kits to be used on site or by remote customers. As an individual or as part of a team, will install 30 and/or 50 level electrical modifications on AGSE, MH-47G, MH-60M, and MH-6M aircraft. Will be required to add or remove existing aircraft electrical system wiring or remove and install complete harnesses/components. Will help evaluate new MWO projects, complete initial installations, red-line corrections, validation/verification installations, and test installations.

Responsibilities

  • Build aircraft cables and harnesses.
  • Install aircraft and AGSE electrical MWO kits.
  • Assemble and package MWO kits.
  • Work with supervisor, quality control and technical writers on revisions and changes to MWO projects.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Must have experience building electrical cables and harnesses.
  • Must be able to pass vision testing and solder certification.
  • Must have at least six years aircraft electrical experience.
  • Must have personal tools.
  • Previous MWO experience is desirable.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain interim secret clearance prior to starting.
