Job Description

The Chief Security Officer (CSO) will be responsible for delivering comprehensive security expertise to enable company strategies and business goals. This position requires a dynamic individual with extensive expertise in all facets of security; physical, technical, personnel, protective and personnel security. In addition, the CSO will be a subject matter expert on USG policy/regulations; Intelligence Community Directives, Guidance and DoD policy. The CSO will be a critical partner in fostering agency relationships and ensuring compliance with all US government oversight regulations, ensuring that we work effectively and efficiently to support security requirements for our business and optimize growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Account Management:

· Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy to execute company growth objectives across the U.S. government agencies.

· Align company offerings with the USG mission, challenges and goals to create value-driven solutions.

· Maintain, and build, productive relationships with government and industry personnel to anticipate future needs and trends.

2. Client Relationship Development:

· Build and nurture trusted relationships with key agency stakeholders at all levels.

· Act as a strategic advisor, identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.

· Ensure the company is positioned as a preferred partner through exceptional client engagement and communication.

3. Growth and Business Development:

· Pursue opportunities to expand current contracts and secure new business.

· Proactively identify emerging opportunities, including agency budget shifts, new initiatives, and policy changes that align with company capabilities.

· Collaborate with business development and proposal teams to develop winning strategies and proposals tailored to agency needs.

4. Company Strategy Execution:

· Translate corporate goals into actionable strategies for the assigned agency.

· Provide insights and feedback from the client to inform product development, service improvements and company offerings.

· Champion cross-functional collaboration to ensure the delivery of integrated solutions that align with the company's vision.

5. Security:

· Provide subject matter expertise in multi-disciplined security support across company lines of business.

· Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy to safeguard CENCORE assets, empower the business and enable growth.

· Serve as the company's subject matter expert on Intelligence Community Directive 705 (ICD 705), providing guidance on Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) standards.

· Conduct reviews of existing physical security measures for company assets and recommend improvements as needed.

6. Market Intelligence and Reporting:

· Monitor and report on agency trends, competitive activities, and legislative or regulatory changes impacting the agency's priorities.

· Provide regular updates to company leadership on account performance, growth opportunities, and challenges.

· Use date-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, security management, or equivalent experience.

· 10+ years in multi-disciplined security roles, to include security leadership within government.

· Proven track record of driving growth and executing strategic initiatives in a government agency context.

· Expertise with ICD 705 implementation and physical security standards.

Skills and Competencies:

· Strong knowledge of federal acquisition processes and government contracting vehicles.

· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement account growth strategies.

· Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.

· Analytical mindset with the ability to connect client needs to company strategy.

· Expertise in secure facility requirements, including SCIF construction and accreditation.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Expertise in the customers mission, challenges and procurement practices.

· Knowledge of IDIQ contracts, BPA or GSA schedules.
