As a Computer Engineer with JRC, you will...
- Develop software for embedded microelectronics (ARM, RISC-V, others) in a team environment to aid in the assessment of microelectronics. Use of revision control software is required.
- Develop software (CPU) in a team environment to aid in the assessment of microelectronics. Use of revision control software is required.
- Develop test/debug software
- Conduct statistical analysis of data from testing efforts.
- Assist the Electrical Engineer with the setup and operation of microelectronic devices
- Identify new testing methodologies
- Assist with electrical/electronic technology assessment efforts
What you bring to the table...
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Engineering or related engineering field and 0-5 years of experience
- Knowledge and understanding of software programming including C/C++, Python, Perl, and MATLAB
- Knowledge and understanding of Statistical Data Analysis (statistics)
- Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment including Oscilloscopes, Amplifiers, Filters,
- Knowledge and lab experience with microelectronics (microcontrollers, FPGAs)
- Ability to support technical design reviews
- Knowledge and understanding of parallel programming issues (race conditions, livelocks/deadlocks, shared memory, memory ordering, etc.) and experience with pthreads and/or MPI libraries is preferred
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret US Government Clearance.
