Job Duties:
• Shape the Microsoft Endpoint Management (MECM) solution and perform engineering and design for Windows Endpoint devices (Desktop and Laptop hardware).
• From a MECM perspective, the primary focus on the end point builds, task sequences, baselines, application packaging, automation, customization.
• development of custom task sequences
• PowerShell automation
• automated application installation packages
• Lot of hands on technical work to validate and test the solution before the other integrator deploys
Skills Required:
• 5+ years experience in the areas below
• Building, customizing, and deploying operating systems for Windows 10 and Windows 11 endpoints.
• Developing desktop deployment task sequences using desktop deployment tools, including Microsoft SCCM / MECM or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
• PowerShell scripting.
• Working in large enterprise operations environments, including the identification, development, analysis, scheduling, and managing of enterprise IT activities, solutions and risk mitigations, artifacts, and migrations.
• Knowledge of desktop OS deployment and imaging tools, drivers, application installs, OS patching, and feature updates
• Knowledge of built-in Microsoft desktop technologies (for instance including BitLocker, Credential Guard, WSL, or Windows Hello for Business, etc.)
• IAT Level II Certification - Security+, CASP, GSEC, or SSCP, etc.
o Ability to obtain Microsoft O/S certifications within 30 days
NICE TO HAVE:
• Experience applying systems engineering fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
• Experience with enterprise server, storage, networking, software, and application services or equivalent depth in a single solution platform.
• Experience collaborating with other enterprise technologists both internally and externally to resolve complex technical issues. Experience supporting and coordinating across senior-level organizations.
• Experience mentoring junior team members
• Experience with cloud-based technology.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or Engineering.
• CASP+ or CISSP Certification.
• Microsoft Certifications AZ-900 and/or AZ-104
