Axient is seeking a candidate to provide Systems Engineering Technical Support and Data Analysis for government customer in Huntsville, AL.
What you will do...
Duties
- Provide technical support for the development, design, and evaluation of C-UAS weapon systems.
- Evaluate the detection, tracking, classification and defeat capabilities of current and future Army Counter-UAS systems.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and OEMs to integrate C-UAS systems into existing system architecture.
- Perform rapid data analysis in support of system testing at DoD test ranges.
- Coordinate with team members and U.S. government customers to execute studies, analyze the results and prepare and present study findings.
Skills you will need...
Requirements
- Must have / be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Ability to develop custom analysis tools for automated data reduction (experience with development in Python preferred).
- Strong communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and government customers.
- Ability to work independently to learn new technologies, process, programming languages
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Work Location
- On-Site at Contractor/Government location
Travel
- Frequent travel, up to 25%, to contractor and test sites is required.
Clearance
- US Citizenship is required.
