Axient is seeking a Network and Computer Systems Administrator, Senior to support our customer in Eglin AFB, FL.
What you will do...
- Assist with system administration of network, Web, and/or communication systems, including LAN and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems, involving network security;
- Assist with managing hardware and software, perform configuration management and troubleshooting on IT related equipment;
- Assist end-users with the operation and restoration of information systems;
- Perform daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client/server, or cloud based and optimizes system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis, planning, and lifecycle management.
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems, and; Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions.
Skills you will need...
- Security Plus certification.
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
- Associate's degree in related field.
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience.
Education Substitutions
- Associate's degree plus 13 yrs relevant experience plus IAT Level III
- Bachelor's degree plus 10 yrs relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 yrs relevant experience plus IAT Level III
