Responsibilities

As a Senior IT Architect SME with MTSI you will assist the Gov't IT PM with overseeing the implementation and execution of an air-gapped/private cloud environment, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with organizational goals. Prepare and communicate written courses of action with cost/schedule/performance information.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

• Establish functional roles within the IT team including maintenance, deployment, security, and development.
• Provide guidance and direction to team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Architectural Guidance and Implementation: Work closely with the Information Systems Security Officer/Manager (ISSO/ISSM) to ensure that architectural decisions align with security standards and regulations, particularly in a SAP environment. Manage an air-gapped cloud environment with proficiency in modern office suite tools.
• Provide expert level IT Architect support for virtual and physical networks, computers, servers, and appliances. Design and implement on-premises and private cloud-based data hosting solutions. Analyze and design cloud-based systems and associated network and computer security measures.
• Define and document overall solution architecture and lifecycle roadmaps. Analyze business requirements and develop technical network solutions. Document how applications and technology solutions support business needs.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Minimum of 20+ years of experience in IT architecture, network engineering, or related roles.
• Proven experience in leading and managing IT teams.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, data governance, infrastructure, applications, and cloud solutions
• 5+ years experience working in a SAP environment

Education Requirements:

• BS Degree in Engineering Required
• MS Degree in Engineering Desired

Clearance Requirements:

• TS/SCI with previous SAP experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
